Coffee & community
An alcohol-free morning gathering produced by an independent organizer. Coffee-and-dance formats are concepts for discussion, subject to City clearance before booking.
These concepts use photographs of Lumen’s actual space, with AI-generated furniture, décor and activity setups. They illustrate possibilities, not completed events or equipment included in your rental. Final layouts are agreed during a walkthrough.

Your booked time includes setup, teardown and leaving the room tidy. Your team clears spills, bags rubbish and removes its belongings and equipment. Lumen handles the between-event deep clean. These rates cover standard small classes, meetings, workshops and shoots. Equipment, catering, event staff and storage are not included unless agreed. Large parties and public dance events are outside this offer.
We confirm the space, activity and dates before sending a payment request. Sending an inquiry or making an unrequested payment does not reserve a date.

Who does what
You run your own event
You bring the program, customers and team. You control registration, collect your revenue and pay an agreed venue rental.
Your team handles setup and cleanup
Your organizer handles setup, staffing, equipment and teardown. Clear spills, bag rubbish and remove your belongings and vendor equipment before your access time ends. Return furniture to the agreed layout. Lumen handles the between-event deep clean.
Furniture, AV, storage, vendor access and any additional services must be agreed in writing. Furniture, props and equipment shown in the AI-staged concepts are not automatically included.

Once your activity, insurance and signed terms are approved, Sonny gives you private booking access. Choose available hours and pay through Stripe to confirm your first booking.
- Talk about regular dates.
After a successful first booking, Sonny can enable repeat access. Book available mornings within your approved activity, group size and insurance dates.

What hours can I rent?
Selected mornings from 6 am to noon. Your access window includes setup, teardown and cleanup. We keep an hour clear afterward. Weddings and large events normally have access from 1 pm to 1 am the next day; earlier event setup may make a morning unavailable.
Who brings participants and runs the activity?
The independent organizer. You handle promotion, registration, ticketing, refunds, instruction, personnel and participant communications.
What does it cost?
Standard morning rentals are $100 per hour, with a two-hour minimum ($200). After a successful first paid visit and approval for repeat access, weekly bookings are $75 per hour when you prepay eight visits of at least two hours each: $1,200 for eight two-hour mornings. Setup and cleanup count toward your booked time. Rates apply to small classes, meetings, workshops and shoots; large parties and public dance events are outside this offer. We confirm the activity, space and dates before requesting payment.
Who handles permits and insurance?
Requirements depend on the activity. Organizers and vendors provide applicable approvals and appropriate insurance before access; Lumen separately confirms premises requirements. A rental agreement does not remove those venue responsibilities.
Can I propose a coffee rave or dance event?
You can ask about the concept. Public dance events are not part of the initial confirmed offering and require a separate City licensing and operational review before dates can be agreed.
Are food, alcohol or equipment included?
We agree what is included before you book. Any catering, food service, music, equipment or special setup must be disclosed and approved in advance. The initial focus is simple indoor uses.
For people who run their own programs
You have a clear activity and can share a website, professional profile, portfolio, references or relevant experience. You handle your participants, staff, equipment and communications, and carry coverage appropriate to your work.
Your team looks after the room
Your access time includes setup, teardown and leaving the room tidy. Finish on time, clear spills, bag rubbish, remove your belongings and equipment, and return furniture to the agreed layout. Lumen handles the between-event deep clean. Furniture moves, refreshments, amplified music and extra vendors need approval beforehand.

We review your proposal, insurance and signed rental terms before giving you private booking access. Start with one paid visit. If it goes well, we can approve repeat bookings within your agreed activity, attendance limit and access window.
Keep exits clear, respect the building and its neighbors, and have a responsible organizer present throughout. Professional qualifications are reviewed where relevant to the activity. Please never submit patient or participant information.
